Wow long time no post...oh well

Schools been busy...lets see, news...news...oh  yeah!

I am now a photographer for The Daily Tar Heel ^_^
yay...it's so much fun and exciting...though mommy thinks it is taking up too much of my time. My response to that is I can either spend the extra 3 hours a week taking pics or spend it playing Halo 3...yeah...I think it's a little more productive

and OMG yeah...so I got to photograph The Bravery this past weekend in Greensboro...Yayyyyyyyyyy it was so much fun and I was so nervous (I mean it was my first official time shooting a band professionally)...no pics yet, I still gotta edit and all that jazz...plus idk if it's safe to put those up on the internet where people can steal them...since that is potential money if they purchase them

oh well...here's a pic of my photo pass and lovely cameras at the concert...yay ^_^...thank god for f/1.4 and ISO 1600 or else I would have been FUCKED

And as if that wasn't AMAZING enough...I just heard back from Ladytron who is letting me photograph their show in June ^_^...YAYYYYYYYYYY...I still need to talk to Radiohead and The Cure to see if I can land a spot for those shows too...which would be amazing :P

It was really fun...and I got to meet 2 other photographers...the girl was cool...the guy was sketch...oh well...I'll probably never see them again

OMG you might think it's all fun and games (and it kinda is)...but it is soooooooo hard to get images during a concert...I mean...low light...fast movement...NO FLASH...and only 3 songs to get images...I swear...during The Bravery concert I took like 150 images and didn't get to look at a single one until my 3 songs were up. and I had to get outta the pit before the fans or security murdered me...luckily I didn't run out of room on my CF cards and got some really good images ^_^

I hope they buy some...well not buy...but license...hugeeeeeeee difference

sigh...mommy doesn't like that I am devoting so much time to photography...but what can I say? I love it! I love it just as much as I love Biology! Can't I love more than one thing?

oh well

I gotta get back to studying genetics for a test on monday...yikes!
